Ry and I hosted a fabulous Christmas party tonight! We are so happy with how everything turned out. It was such a blast! All the cleaning and hard work we put forth really paid off! We figured it would be best to move the beast into the guest bedroom. I thought I could handle moving it myself. Those things are freaking heavy! And trying to get it into the tiny doorway was quite a challenge. I think we both decided we'll keep it in there for a while : )

SO much more room without it in there! And the cleaning is all done! I love that feeling!

Mom's cupcakes were definitely a hit! Just like ALWAYS! Thanks again mom, for making those!

You can't have a Christmas party without andee's chip mint cookies! Also, a hit.

Duh the Grinch should be played at EVERY Christmas party! I must say, Stephen and I were such good quoters, I was very impressed with his skills. He's almost better than I am at quoting this movie.

Camber and her beau Glenn (aka Andrew) the picture above are Andrews shoes that he bought just yesterday. He clumsily spilt hawaiian punch on them. So we shot some shout on there and let them soak. Sidnee LUCKILY had a tide pen in her purse so we tried that...nada. I was brilliant and decided to soak them in bleach. IT WORKED! Sidnee scrub, scrub, scrubbed and they looked brand new again. BUT THEN, we made the mistake by putting them in the dryer and it burned them. Sorry about your new shoes Andrew.

The Introductions were the best part! Everyone had to say their names, how their and their spouse/boyfriend/fiance met, what they were doing (working, going to school) and if they were to die, what A-list celebrity would they choose for their spouse to marry! Everyone was too nice to each other.

Then we played the "White Elephant Gift Exchange" SO fun! There was such a huge variety of gifts that everyone brought. It was such a fun time. We ended up with an etch-eh-sketch (sp??) and a shake weight! haha!

No Tooth Fairy This Time

For the past month Dani has been complaining about her wisdom teeth and how they have been aching and hurting. If anybody knows my family and my background you know that we are not the sympathetic type. So to show my sympathy I told her to tough it out and deal with it. Last Sunday, they started bothering her again, so I finally gave in and told her to make an appointment as soon as possible. So on Friday we went in and POOF they were gone. Dr. Scott Grant and his staff did a fantastic job and made her feel as comfortable as possible. The past few days I have taken off work to take care of her and I am happy to report that she is doing well and recovering quickly. She is still in pain but has been a trooper through the whole process; she even came to my company Christmas party last night. She is still a little swollen from the surgery but my little Dano looks as good as ever. Being by her side these last few days have made me love her even more. Feel better Dani; I Love You.

Dani's wisdom teeth, I was going to give them to her for a gift for Christmas, but she insisted she wanted to see them. The tooth fairy didn't visit us this time.

Botanical Gardens...our first exerience

We had such a great time last night! Our friends Sidnee and Stephen invited us out to the Botanical Gardens. Our other friends Anthony and Kathryn also came! The lights were fun to see but the best part was the company! We had a ton of good laughs. Most nights Ry and I get home from work and we are dead tired so we stay inside. Mostly every weekend we have date night but it was fun to get out with more friends and do something a little different for a change! Friends are great! (Especially when they are all about a foot taller than me! I'm use to that by now.)

This Christmas

Ry and I have had so much fun together these last couple months of marriage. I have definitely been looking forward to getting our own Christmas tree together and decorating it. It was so much fun! We also love being goofy together in Hobby Lobby...

Ryan's mom made our tree skirt! Not even knowing what colors we were using, it works perfectly and we absolutely love it! Thanks Nancy!!

TADA!! I am so proud of our tree! I definitely have to give some of the credit to my mother. Those who know her, know that she has the most beautiful Christmas tree and nat for decorating! Thanks mom for teaching me how to make a tree so beautiful!

Sarah's bachelorette party took place at Buffalo Wild Wings! SO fun! Love you girl! Love all these girls! The girl sitting next to me is having a girl and naming her Bailey Rae- which is OUR Bailey's name and spelling...pretty crazy!

My Sarah got married today! Congratulations to them both! She looked so beautiful!

I'm a little late on posting from halloween, but my mom made a great point...its never too late to post something on the blog! We had a fun time carving pumpkins this year with our good friends Anthony and Kathryn.

Ryan made the skeleton one and i made the other too, i'm a fast pumpkin carver i guess so i did mine and our third one, all in the same time ryan did his! They all turned out way sweet. I especially love my Jack.

Ryan has a habit of closing his eyes in pictures, but this was the night we went to the corn maze with our friends Mitch and Christine! Way fun time!

And a Happy Birthday dinner to my dad! One can never go wrong with Texas Roadhouse!

I am getting SO excited for Christmas! Today my mom and i went to hobby lobby and i got permission from the man of the house to start buying tree decorations! i got even MORE excited! We found the tree we want, now we just need to buy it! i can't wait! but in the mean time...

Weekend crafts & sweet moments

This weekend Ry and I went to Twin to stay with his family, happens often. The main reason for going was because my sister-in-law's ward did a craft day. I had seen what they were making several weeks prior and knew i wanted to be a part of it! It was such a fun, relaxing weekend. We ALWAYS love those! Here's what i made from scratch...

Mickey Mouse Caramel Apples Gone Bad....

When we were at Disneyland we saw the most amazing caramel apples! We wanted to try them! They looked like a sinch. ERRRR wrongo! They turned out TERRIBLE!!! Ry even watched a video on how to make them. WE NEED HELP! We really want to make these, and be proud of what we accomplished. How do they make the chocolate so smooth? We think we cooked the chocolate too long, because it melted the caramel underneath it and it was clumpy...oops! Any of you out there who are pros at caramel apples please give us some advice...otherwise we will keep trying and keep making silly fools out of ourselves.

One night we thought it would be fun to make haunted houses out of graham crackers and frosting, but instead ry came up with the brilliant plan to make the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland!

Ry and I had such a blast on our honeymoon! We won't lie, it was super hard coming home and stepping back into reality. Work was a drag, but it's been nice getting into a routine with our schedules. It isn't very hard since our work schedules are very much alike! If you know Ry's family, then you already know they are Disneyland LOVERS! They've gone almost every single year. I felt very special because out of all the girls he's dated i was the very first one he's taken (and better be the last!) I loved it because his little boy side came out when we got there. He got so excited! We were like two little kids on Christmas morning. The first night we got there he wanted to take me to one of their families favorite restaurants in Downtown Disney. They had THE BEST shrimp i've ever tasted in my life. It was very yummy and such a fun atmosphere.

Even though the waiting times for the rides weren't very long, we always managed to get lots of pictures together while waiting.

As most of you know, my mother and Bailey went off to Arizona for the summer, and left the responsible workers to fend for themselves :) I bet when they decided to do that my mom had no idea what kind of things would go on while they were gone...She probably thought that since both my dad and i are very responsible people and since i clean all the time even with her home, things would be perfectly fine...WRONGO! Yesterday i found some nice surprises in our fridge...i'm sure you know where this is going...stick around a take a little looky...

A container that use to be rice from WHO KNOWS how long ago...has been turned to PURE MOLD!! like 3 inches thick of it! i hope we aren't the only people in this world who find things like this in the back of their fridge....

Looks like paint eh?...sour cream that expired 4 months ago!!!! someone gag me with a fork! These weren't the only things i found, moldy whip cream, stale hamburger buns, bad veggies, crinkled up apples, luckily there was no sour milk cause that would have just set me up for a loop and i would have vomited. I hope i haven't made any of you do that by reading this...now for the good news...

I don't think anything can beat something as crazy and out of control as buying a sweet 2010 yellow chevy camaro...am i right? say hello to my new car! mom doesnt know about this one yet! don't worry mom, i got a sweet deal on it! Ry wouldnt let me back down from it, so you can blame him for that!

Summer Surprise...

My birthday is in a couple weeks and for an early birthday present Ry surprised me with the camera that i've been wanting for a while! What a great surprise! He's the absolute best.

Last weekend, Ry's sisters, brother-in-law, and neice, came up to Boise from Jerome to spend the day with us at Roaring Springs! We had such a fun time, especially with the little one! It was her very first time at a waterpark...she loved every minute in the water!

Today could have been a boring day...but, luckily it wasnt! Days with ry are NEVER boring. and folks, that is why i love him so much! since you read in my last post that my mom and bailey have left us for a while, dinner today was different. dad ry and i sat alone at the table. but it was such a lovely dinner! dad bbq'd delicious ribs, baked potatoes, and corn...yes you heard it right! he cooked it all on the bbq! and of course, i made a delightful salad. we had pleasant conversation the entire time. after dinner and clean-up instead of staying inside, watching movies, playing on the computer, or playing games, like every other sunday, ry and i decided to take a stroll along the greenbelt. even though it was pretty warm outside it felt SO good! pictures were a must!...

P.S. we love our aviators more than each other. jk but seriously.

The plague...and an update

I feel like a plague has overcome me. Ryan got sick about a week ago and i was determined not to catch it. but...we are in love and its oh so very hard to stay away from him, especially when he is sick because i want to be there for him and take care of him and give him kisses on the cheek. so yes, i caught the plague. i was a little nervous because of the new job i started, i couldnt afford to already miss work, luckily that wasnt the case. i still went to work sounding like a man, sneezing almost every second, and getting body aches and chills. it really was no fun.

last night was date night. ry and i went to famous daves, which was so fun! i use to work there and our server ended up being my favorite girl there that i worked with! she told everyone that i was there so people kept coming up and saying hi. it was a special moment. after dinner we met up with sarah and chad to see karate kid (which was very good in my opinion.) during the movie my medicine started wearing off. my head was throbbing and it felt as though it were going to explode. my stomach starting rumbling because...well...you get the point. all in all, the feeling sucked. on the way home the tears started coming. i felt stupid, who cries when they're sick? i guess i do! i think it was a mixture of being tired, feeling horrible, and the thought of my mom and bailey being gone for 7 weeks. ry brought me home and settled me into my bed, gave me some medicine and stayed with me until i was almost asleep. i am so blessed to have found an amazing man who i know will be the best husband. he treats me like a queen. i am so lucky!

The house is finally finished! we went furniture shopping at RC Willey and got ourselves a new couch, washer and dryer, and fridge. i am SO excited to move in and start the decorating! the first time we had gone into RC willey ry fell in love with this bright red leather couch! at first i was like HECK NO and we moved on. but the second time we went in when we were really going to buy one...i was like hmm this could actually be freaking sweet. it was a 6 piece half circle couch shown below...MUCH more expensive than the one i fell in love with...and of course, most the time, the girl gets her way, as in this case :)

Memorial Day Weekend...

I have been working for Anderson Chiropractic for about a month now and I've been loving it! I work Monday through Thursday. I don't think I could have asked for a better schedule! I have been car-less for some time now, but since mine and Ryan's schedules are identical, except for him working fridays, and since our works are only about a mile away from each other, he picks me up every morning, we do lunch every day, and then he picks me up and takes me home. ITS PERFECTO! It's actually been a huge blessing. We both got a long weekend so we decided to go to Jerome to his parents and relax for a couple days. It was much needed! This full-time thing has been hard getting use to. It turned out being a great weekend though. I think the best part though seriously was all the naps I took!! Monday, we spent the day in Twin. Ry took me to this gorgeous waterfall down by the snake river. Also, we stopped on the bridge for a sweet base jumping show. Surprisingly, after the wonderful weekend we had, it was nice going back to work! (Never thought in my life I'd like a job so much that after the weekend I'd be looking forward to going back to it!) haha.

The Proposal...

Ryan and I met a little over a year ago. He was going to school at BYU-I and he had a girlfriend, so we never really got a chance to get to know each other. (Not like he wanted to get to know me anyway;) I think it was in late December or January, he had been back from school and started regularly attending our singles branch. One Sunday night at branch prayer my best friend, Sarah, got me to make the first move and talk to him. So I did it ever so slyly. He, at the time, was getting over a very hard break-up and seemed a little distant. A few weeks went by and one night after we had already exchanged phone numbers, we were going to go out for some icecream. He had called me and said he wasn't up to going and that something had happened that night. I told him that I was there for him if he needed to talk. SO, he called me up and said, "lets take a drive and get some hot cocoa!" Ah I was so happy! On the drive of course he told me all about the past relationship and how hard the breakup had been, while driving around looking at Christmas lights. We had a really good talk. Of course though I was thinking to myself, this sucks!!! I was completely willing to be there for him and listen to him, but CLEARLY he was not over this girl yet! But then that's when I came up with my brilliant plan to help him get over her by steppin in! Believe it or not....IT WORKED! I'm so brilliant!

We started hanging out almost every night about 3 months ago. Our first date was on Valentine's Day! We doubled with my best friend and the guy she's dating, Sarah and Chad. We all went to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory then and saw Valentine's Day (which by the way, we were so disappointed by it, we were all so excited to see it and it was dumb!) Since that night neither of us had been interested in anyone else! So, I guess thats when we became exclusive. Since we've been dating, we have had a blast together! I remember almost every single date we've been on! My favorite though was when we snuck panda express into the movie theater! I've loved spending time with him! As time went by, I would get more and more excited to see him, which made it harder and harder to say goodbye every night. That's when I knew I loved him and that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him. We knew thats how we both felt. So...we decided to make it happen!

Last night Ryan proposed to me!! and this is how it happened...

He casually asked if I wanted to go to dinner when he got off work. So, that was the plan. The doorbell rang at about 5:30 pm and there lying on the front step was an envelope that said Clue #1. I knew right away what he was up to! Inside was a piece of paper and a reese's peanut butter cup (they are my favorite)

clue # 1 said, Dani bo bani, are you ready for a little rhyming game? To test out how well you can aim? Travel first to a wooden structure, where Twayne just recently restructured. There you will find clue #2, good luck my little boo!

So, I went to the Walker's cabin and there inside on the chair was my clue # 2, again, my clue and a peanut butter cup!

Clue #2, I hope you enjoy the reese's along the way, I know you will eat them no matter what you say! Now, travel to a place where a stone is cold, a place where ice cream is sold. Feel free to mix it up a bit, and you'll be done with this my little it. Don't forget clue #3, and fly to the next station like a little bee!

Clue #3, Let's go fly a kite up to the highest height! You will need to look hard around this park, just like a little shark. Look in the realty box across from the park. Grab clue #4 and floor it to the next door! Remember the kite flying pictures??

Clue #4, I hope you floored it to the next door, because you'll want to go through your own door. Go back to where we played Chubby Bunny, and you'll find clue #5 my little hunny.

Clue #5, Aren't I funny? Now do a hop, skip, and a jump to the place where I make money. Look in the bush behind the pillar, and stand up and do a dance like thriller. ALMOST THERE!!

Clue #6, Finally, go to the place where you'll call home, it had a roof overhead just like a dome. The colors are red and brown, you better hurry quick or your little Ry Ry will drown. There I'll be waiting on bended knee, just hoping you'll agree!

So, I walk inside, and he's doing a puzzle on the living room floor. He asked me to help him finish and TADA!!!...

After we finished I was like alright now what? I was expecting him to be down on his knee when I walked in but...nope! He showed me some of the new touch-ups around the house and I just kept waiting and waiting. I was like WHAT THE HECK IS HE DOING!! So then he said, well should we go to dinner? And I was just thinking, seriously what is he up to?? It was driving me crazy! So I started walking out to the car and he said hold on one second I forgot something, and then he called me back inside the house and when I turned the corner...there he was :) down on one knee with the ring out...he pulled me into him, said some gushy love stuff words and asked me to marry him...of course, I said YES! I had the worst butterflies! Even worse than when we first kissed! I am in love and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with Ryan!

Welcome to penguins on ice...

Last weekend, we went on a double date with Sarah and Chad...We went ice skating and then went to Red Robin afterwards for some din din. What a FUN night!! Sarah and I are such amazing ice skaters, the guys unfortunately were having a little bit of a tough time...

I love this lady to death! I think the guys got a little sick of us by the end of the night!!

Monday night for FHE our branch flew kites! Instead of buying those silly $1 kites at wal-mart that everyone else had, ry and I went to Target and got ourselves a way sweet toy story kite for $5! We had a blast! I love spending time with him, because everything we do, no matter what it is, we have so much fun! We've done a lot of fun things since we started dating. My favorite date, and I think it was Ry's favorite too, was when we were late for our movie so we got Panda Express and snuck it into the movie theater! Definitely recommended! (of course, only if you have a big enough bag to fit them in, like I)

Ry is super proud of his "photography skills" although, I must admit, this is a pretty sweet picture!

We were laying in the grass, and I started doing leg motions in the air, I guess Ry found that amusing and wanted to get it on video...don't ask how I thought of that song to sing...

i recently applied for a job as a receptionist for Dr Anderson who is a chiropractor...and sadly, i didnt get the job, BUT life goes on.

i gave my 4th talk in my branch...thats 4 times all within the last year! thanks pres :) i enjoy speaking though so its no biggy.

i finished my room! after braydon moved out, i took over his room. got my new headboard and fixed some wall hangings. i'll post pictures later!

i found out that it is going to cost me as much as my car cost me to replace my transmission...eeeeek! FORGET THAT!

my friendship with sarah has grown more than ever.

i finished my first 1000 piece puzzle...with the help of my man ry!

i had two mornings where i won the worst bed hair ever! pictures below.

i was surprised with Lady Antebellum and Tim McGraw tickets in july!!! can't wait ry ry!

AND....i had the time of my life caving, having a bonfire, and getting sweet box tickets to the Steelheads play off game!!

It's been two months can you believe it? i have realized that blogging is like everything else we do, whether it be, working out or reading our scriptures, or eating healthy or maybe even just keeping our rooms clean...we're really good at keeping up with those things for a little while and then there's always a time we stop doing them! but then we pick right back up and get into the habbit again. do you agree? you're crazy to not. blogging just hasnt been a top priority for me lately! a lot has happened the last few weeks. good and bad :) but thats just normal.

we'll start with the not so good stuff to get that out of the way...i went through another rough week a couple weeks ago. not really sure what triggered it but it was almost as bad as my previous depressed state i had been in. when i'm in those states (this is the same as anyone else who suffers from this illness) we tend to not care about anything or anyone around us. we shut ourselves out from the rest of the world. thank goodness for my family, friends, and church leaders though. i know that they will never let me give up and they will always be there for me. i know that i could never do anything ridiculously stupid because all i'd need to do is think of them and know i could never hurt them or leave them.

one of the hardest things for me to do is making decisions! i'm terrible at it! i know that most of you know i've been thinking about a mission. i had finally made my mind up and took the first step in talking with my branch president. he had told me that the rules had changed and i needed to talk with my homeward bishop and work with him on my papers (bishop bakow) i was really looking forward to that because i love that man. i was finally starting to feel myself pick back up and i was feeling good, especially that i had made a decision to do something! it felt really good. after only a few days of making my mind up i kind of stopped thinking about my mission as much. my mind became occupied on something more important at that time ;) i'm still unsure what the lord has in store for me. but i'm going to keep preparing myself, whether it be for a mission...or marriage. i know that the Lord will make it clear to me what i should do. i'm looking forward to what lies ahead! i'm so grateful for the trials that my Heavenly Father has given me, i know that without a doubt i wouldnt be near as strong as i am now if i hadnt of gone through all that i've gone through during my life. i've been extremely blessed with parents who love me and who are concerned for me. i know they truly care about me.

Teaching in Relief Society, who would have thought...

You read that right folks...i'm teaching my first lesson in relief society the first week in February. I'm giving the lesson on Adversity. It says this about adversity on Lds.org..."As part of Heavenly Father's plan of redemption, all people experience adversity during their lifetime. Trials, disappointments, sadness, sickness, and heartache are a difficult part of life, but with the help of the Lord they can lead to spiritual growth, refinement, and progress.
Each person's success and happiness, both now and in the eternities, depend largely on his or her responses to the difficulties of life.
Adversity comes from different sources. Trials may come as a consequence of a person's own pride and disobedience. These trials can be avoided through righteous living. Other trials are simply a natural part of life and may come at times when people are living righteously. For example, people may experience trials in times of sickness or uncertainty or at the deaths of loved ones. Adversity may sometimes come because of others' poor choices and hurtful words and actions. Suffering may also come through a loving Heavenly Father as a tutoring experience.
When some people face adversity, they complain and become bitter. They ask questions like "Why does this have to happen to me? Why do I have to suffer this now? What have I done to deserve this?" But these questions have the power to dominate their thoughts. Such questions can overtake their vision, absorb their energy, and deprive them of the experiences the Lord wants them to receive. Rather than responding in this way, people should consider asking questions such as, "What am I to do? What am I to learn from this experience? What am I to change? Whom am I to help? How can I remember my many blessings in times of trial?"

Different kinds of adversity require different responses. For example, people who are stricken with illness may simply need to be patient and faithful. People who suffer because of others' words or actions should work toward forgiving those who have offended them. Victims of abuse should seek help immediately. If a person's trials come because of disobedience, he or she should correct the behavior and humbly seek forgiveness."

When i read this it brought me right to the scripture found in Alma chapter 36 verse 3..."Whosoever shall put their trust in God shall be supported in their trials, and their troubles, and their afflictions, and shall be lifted up at the last day"

I love that it says that God will support you, not that He will take your trials away if you trust in Him. I'm still learning to put my complete trust in God. Because I have to admit, I do still question sometimes why things have to be a certain way, or why this is happening. I know most of us do, but it's not fair to Him. We need to have complete trust in our Heavenly Father when things seem unbearable. That is why I chose this topic, because it's one of my weaknesses. I am one of the ones sometimes who becomes bitter.

Whats new?...brace yourselves, its a long one

Well...lets just get the bad news done and over with...i applied for a job at the Idaho Department of Labor and definitely didnt get it. Some kid named Chuck who i work with at the Boise Centre got the job over me. I'm just going to sit here and complain and i don't care what you all say...here are some reasons why Up-Chuck shouldnt have gotten the job.
1. He found out about it after i did.
2. He already has two jobs, waitstaff and ops at the centre, practically working full-time
3. I DON'T HAVE A JOB! well practically not, i work MAYBE once every 2 weeks.
4. He showed up to the interview in freaking jeans and a polo, whereas i showed up in a pencil skirt and high heels! Now tell me thats not impressive!

When he shows up late and calls in like he does at the Centre, they will realize that they picked the wrong person!
Anyways if you havent already been able to tell, i'm bitter. But i'll definitely get over it!

Well, time for some good news peeps...bailey and i have been blessed with a sister who has creativity beyond anything i've seen! SERIOUSLY!!! check out these cuuuute headbands she made for us for Christmas!! She made us like 5 headbands and i finally got my birthday necklace which i'm just dying to wear, once i find the perfect outfit to wear it with, i'll post a picture! Its funny because we always joke about how Idaho is so behind on fashion and what not...and this just proves it! i've seen MAYBE 2 people wear these kinds of headbands...i think that bailey and i just might start a new trend here in Idaho! Thanks sis! You truly are the best!!

This really isnt good or bad news but i had a dream last night and wanted to share it with you guys. Prepare to laugh...or not....

So the night prior to my dream i had been thinking about the mission i've been thinking about going on in like 7 months if i go! WOAH CRAZY! So i dreamed i got called to serve a mission in Brazil...all i packed to take was a large suitcase FULL of clothes and two big huge bottles of shampoo and conditioner and thats it! All the elders and sisters shared one large room to sleep in. We went to bed the first night and i notice Sidnee Hurst, now Murray sleeping in the bed next to me, i said, "What are you doing here?? i thought you were married and had two kids!" She said, "No i left Stephen and my kids are staying with my mom, when i thought about a mission i knew it was the right thing to do, so here i am" Then i realized i had forgotten to bring razors so she said i could borrow hers. So we woke up one morning and the mission presidents wife was calling me, as she was telling me my assignments for the day, all the elders were being loud and obnoxious so i kept telling them to shut up and the service was really bad so i couldnt understand what she was telling me to do. i broke down and started crying because i didnt know what i was supposed to do that day. we all start getting ready for the day. there was a huge room with a bunch of showers lined up, so i grabbed my whole suit case and took it in the shower with me (there were two parts to the shower, one part was where the shower was and the other part was just a spot to put your things that was curtained off. when i got out of the shower all of my things were soaking wet, so again i broke down. I ran into one of my other friends who's serving a mission in California, but in my dream he was serving in Brazil with me, Chase Hessing, We fell in love on our mission and got married when we were released! HAHA! Dreams can be so far out and random. I have yet to understand these ones. It's fun though to kind of put connections together, i had dreamed about a mission because i had been thinking about it, i dreamed about sidnee because i had just looked at her facebook page, and i dreamed about chase because i had just sent him a letter in the mail.

So, this last weekend was a total blast if i may say so. We had the most fabulous idea of going sledding and having a big fire, roast mallows, play some games, and invite lots of people. Well everything worked out, minus the inviting lots of people part, most of them bailed last minute...seems to work out like that most of the time...what?! So...nine of us crowded into 3 cars and went up towards horseshoe bend. We found the perfect spot, set everything up and did some sledding, sat around and talked and laughed and played games. Got into a little snow chunk fight. SO fun! We even had this sick old fashioned sled that was the bomb! And, once again, no broken bones! WHHEWW
Last night we spread the word out that we were getting a group to go bowling at 20th century bowling lanes...every monday night from 10 pm-2 am they have this deal...its called "sin night" where you pay 10.50 for everything for unlimited games...sweet deal right? we had a good sized group and once again had a total blast!..on my last game i even scored a 25!! thanks to the fun game of...wow we didnt even give it a name. we did this thing where the first person picks what everyone else has to bowl like on that frame, whether it be bowling with your left hand, or doing a sweet slide on your stomach bowl...don't worry folks, a 25 isnt my average score...

New friend, embarrassments, and broncos prevail again!

First off, can i just say that we have the best football team here in boise! we love you broncos! mainly, just because of you guys we were able to have parties every weekend! What a fun game the fiesta bowl was! i knew all along we'd kick butt! And they proved me right :)

So anyways....
Lately i have been so tired and (i hate to use this word but i'm gonna)...lazy! i've been getting enough sleep, not too much, but enough. what in the?! am i playing too hard? the other day i went up snowboarding for the first time since the accident (which was almost a year ago!)...can you say BOMB? i had a blast. my new friend justin gallegos asked me to come up with him, we met another guy we know up there also. spent about 7 hours up there. no broken bones, just completely and utterly sore beyond belief. didnt really crash too hard at all, just face planted once coming off the lift...boy was that embarrassing! only because this big group of pro snow boarding gangstas were watching the whole thing!! haha OF COURSE! my favorite part about that day was when we walked out to the car, it had been snowing a bunch the whole day so course our car was covered in snow, i started wiping it off with my glove and before i knew it, justin had picked me up and started wiping me all over the car windows scraping all the snow off. SO RIDICULOUS! funny guy, fun day!

Well my parents have done it....they've proved that they are definitely crazy! they came in and woke me up at 1 in the morning and forced me out of bed to go hooky bobbing...i layed there debating whether or not to get up, put on layers of clothes, and go out in the cold snow, course, it only took me about a minute to make up my mind. I knew that if i didnt get up and go join in i'd regret it in the morning...so we went and i know we created a memory we'll never forget! SO much fun! It was such a fun way to end dusty's trip here. BREE WE MISSED YOU!!!!

A Holidaywhoobywhaty...

This Christmas was a bit different for our family this year. The reasoning...it was bree's first year not being with us!!!!! :( the whole day just didnt feel right! i never want that to happen again, but i guess thats life! we all grow up and start making our own families, its weird. We still had a good day! Woke up at about eight to the smell of that delicious ham...every year our house always smells the same! its because of the ham my parents make every christmas morning, oh how i love that smell. Bailey and i woke up at like 6 thirty and turned on princess diaries up in my room and watched that until my mom came and got us. we all went downstairs and hung out until dad got home from work. Poor man had been working since 7 pm the night before! he was so kind to let us do our thing before going back down for bed. he actually did fall asleep on the chair. (kidding it was a fake picture) this year i think our favorite gift was the wii bailey got. we are so behind on electronics in this family! but that thing was turned on all day! we all took our 4 hour naps and then went to the movies with our favorite neighbor Patty to use the movie tickets she got our family for christmas! The girls saw Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel, while the boys went and saw Avatar. it turned out being a great day!

It's Tradition...

So every year we have this tradition where we get as many families as we can together and meet up at the mall. Each person draws a name and we all have $3 to spend on the person we draw. We are given about 45 minutes to shop around for the perfect gift for just three bucks! We then meet up in the food court and start from youngest to oldest and exchange gifts. It's such a fun tradition and everyone always looks forward to it every year. Unfortunately this year there was only one other family, the bakows! Both our families together still made 15 people so we still had a way fun time! From the pictures, it looked like taylor and Bishop weren't having that good of a time, we must be boring or something! (or we just took the picture at the wrong time.) This year brittany drew my name and she got me a headband with a mistletoe attached to it. I guess she knew i was in desperate need of it this year ;) Braydon got trick gum that shocks you when you pull on it. so by the pictures you can tell we had some fun with that! thanks bakows for being the only family to join in on

Utah Getaway....

Mom and Bailey and I were able to go to Utah a couple weekends ago for our good friend Courtney Allred's wedding...of course, it being in the middle of winter we were freeeeeeeeeezing our butts off outside the temple...i kept telling myself over and over again that i would NEVER have my wedding in the winter, i've always wanted a summer wedding. Of course, if my wedding did happen to have to be in the winter i'd definitely have it down in Mesa. It was still fun seeing people we hadnt seen in a while. The day before the wedding an old family friend of ours, the Jensens, invited us all (us including the Allred family) over for dinner. Surprisingly one of my old good friends had come up for the wedding (brendy kitterman in the red coat) i hadnt seen her in a few years so it was good to catch up with her! i hadnt seen casey, courtney's twin sister (in the black coat) in forever also and loved seeing her! It was fun to have a girls trip...for me it was a getaway from all thats happened the last few weeks. So it was nice.

My Faith In God...

We all know this, sometimes things get so overwhelmingly hard that we feel its almost impossible to overcome. I recently felt like this. It is sad to say, but these are the times when I do the most praying, the most scripture studying, when I feel the closest to my Heavenly Father and my faith in him grows so much. I should be doing these things and working on them all the time, but I truly am grateful for the hard times I've been through. They have made me grow stronger and learn so much. I have learned so much about who I am and what I want in life in the past year or so. I am so blessed to have been born and raised in the Gospel. I thank my Heavenly Father each time I pray for that, for my amazing parents, my siblings, and for all the people in my life who care so much about me and who love me. When I'm in the middle of a trial, I have to remember to look ahead and to remember that things always get better, its something I have to grasp onto until its all over. I have a huge testimony of prayer. I know that Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers. Without a doubt in my mind, he is there and waiting for us to come unto him. What a huge blessing it is to know that.

My challenge: Always remember, when things get so hard and you feel as though you might not get through it, fall to your knees and pray. He is there and listening. I love you all.

last fall festivities of the year

For Thanksgiving this year, the bakow's invited us over to eat with them. thankfully they did because it would have been one quiet thanksgiving with just the 5 of us who were here. it turned out being a really good day. later that evening we had movie tickets with patty so we showed up at the theater planning on seeing blind side and it was all sold out. so we saw new moon. don't know how we managed to get dad and braydon to sit through it but we did. i actually wasnt too thrilled about it being my second time seeing it. but it was still a great night. thanks patty!
Wow we all really know how to be goofy, especially the little guy in the corner, classic face man!
luckily bailey is sitting down, otherwise you'd see how tall she really is getting, i think in only got her by an inch barely! keep it up girl
watch out! moms in the kitchen, stand back...haha love you mom, i found all these pictures you took and i hadnt seen them, you're crazy...literally :)
it really is amazing how tired i get every year after eating, for some reason its only on holidays, its not like i eat more than usual on these days...odd (bailey on the other hand just gets more crazy :)
this year we decided to go to the festival of trees, mainly because i'm working at the convention center its held at so i got the hook up with some tickets (thanks sarah) so this is us on our way!
these are some of our favorites, its amazing how much people put into these trees...each year this goes on for a week, they have certain events going on during the week that people can come to..the second night its being held there's a huge dinner that people pay 250$ to attend its called the gala dinner. the last night they have this big fashion show where people model clothes from boutiques around the valley...i was working at that lunch so i was able to watch some of the modeling, some of the clothes were way far out but a lot were actually pretty cute. it was just fun to watch.

the coolest part was on monday i was working up in concessions and was able to watch some of the trees being done, my eye was on the big bird tree, that was interesting to watch being made. people and their creative minds..thats definitely not me!

New hair, awesome guy

For a while i've been wanting to go back blonde, i really didnt realize how hard getting black out of your hair is. Especially if its been in your hair for over 2 years! I think if i had known how hard of a process it is then i might have thought twice about going so dark! my first visit to angela was unexpected...i went thinking oh this will be a piece of cake, we'll strip the black out, dye it to the color i want and put in some highlights, easy right? wrongo! i was there for just over 4 hours! and still didnt get the dark out, went back a week later and another four and a half hours later and this was the outcome...another couple visits and i'll be back blonde!! i'm way excited! Angela, if you're reading this...thank you again!! you're the best :) and of course, daniel was over and mom took some pictures of us! I am in love! :)

So...I have met this good looking guy. His name is Daniel. I met him almost 4 weeks ago and have yet to go more than 2 or 3 days without seeing him...We've done so many fun things together and we are such goofs! The other day he took me shooting, i shot a shotgun for my very first time! Of course tho, with how little i am and with the all the power that is in those guns, it made it difficult for me to not go flying back when i shot it (alright, i didnt go flying back, but it pushed me back a couple steps :)...he had fun with that one! i have loved every minute i've spent with him! he's the best!

Conference '09

Well, sorry its been so long since i've updated, i honestly really had nothing to post about. hate it when that happens, i know there are things and ideas i could probably come up with but i didnt want to take the time.
Anyway, i was able to go to general conference with some AWESOME people. Twayne and Bug Walker (only the most amazing people ever, definitely consider them my second parents, they treat me so well!) took sarah and i and their son brandon. We went up friday afternoon and came back sunday night. It was such a fun weekend!
Bug, sarah, and i were able to make it to the Saturday morning session, we only had three tickets. It was freezing and we had to walk so far in our high heels, but it was SO worth it! i love being in the conference center, the spirit there is so much stronger than when you're just watching it on tv. i love the feeling. My favorite talks that session were Elder Bednar's talk and Elder Uchtdorf's.
Saturday afternoon we drove up to park city, twayne had some business to take care of, so we listened to most of it in the car. Went and did some shopping at the outlet stores (bought myself a new cute black dress :) and then drove back to the hotel that night.
Sunday we had three tickets to the afternoon session so sarah, brandon, and i were able to go to that one. Yet, another awesome experience. I absolutely loved Elder Holland's talk, probably along with most of you as well. He gave such a powerful message. Hope you enjoy looking at my pictures, we got a little crazy.

Friday night after arriving in Utah, we went and ate at the Rooftop restaurant, it was so delicious!
Late, late friday night while sitting in the hotel room we all got the sudden urge to go to wendy's and get some delicious frosties. Apparently they were out of spoons, like what wendy's really runs out of spoons? anyway, we ate them with forks. worked just as well.

The girls with the soon-to-be MOMMY of a baby girl who will be named brightyn! (bree, jenny, toni, and me) we had such a blast planning and decorating for this baby shower, even though it was tons of work and time, it was all worth it in the end! we love you jenny!

The masterpiece table! it turned out way cute! I will have to give MOST of the credit to bree, using her creative and decorative skills really added to the shower...she amazes me! the tu tu being put on display and also many other things were made by bree for the baby :) everyone was IN LOVE and she kept getting compliment after compliment...after compliment :)Me with Aunt heather's baby max! she is an absolute adorable riot! I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS GIRL! and of course everytime i see her in pictures and everywhere else she's always dressed up so cute, in her little tu tu's and head bands...adorable.YEP...we are the makers of this beauty!Everyone also fell in love with the "B" bree made for the baby, it definitely added to the decorations.Cousin Bailey Shea, Heathers other daughter.
So in the end...it turned out awesome! its just ridiculous that with all the time and effort that was put into everything, it lasted only 2 hours and it was done and before we knew it, it was time to clean up and go home! BUT at least it turned out to be the best baby shower ever thrown! :)

San Diego was a blast! The first day being there we went to the beach, but because it was so cold and the sun wasnt out we only ended up staying for an hour, we were pretty bummed. i was just happy i was able to go! the rest of the week both bree and i were sooo tired so we just hung out, watched movies, went to the pool, and were lazy! nothing wrong with that!

Beginning our journey from san diego to arizona. The whole time i was there the camera didnt work, of course right when we leave the camera starts to work! this is our "peacing out" picture... We finally made it after some direction difficulties...took us a little bit longer than we thought, but we made it! The Calls invited us over for dinner that night so we wouldnt have to go to the store and cook ourselves...we ate a delicious roast dinner :) toni came back with us and we had a slumber party on bree's queen sized bed...we had a ton of fun being...well...just us! taking crazy pictures, talking til way late, and havin a blast!

So...one of my good friends Scott Johnson lives here in california so we were able to meet up and hang out for a day, took a swim in the pool, played some sand volleyball, went to lunch and were able to go look at the San Diego Temple. The temple is absolutely gorgeous!!! we had a blast!

Bree has been getting on my back about updating my blog...for some reason i havent had the patience to really update it...but i finally got myself to do it! this is why its good to keep your blog updated so you don't have to post a ton all in one night (tisk tisk dani)...i will be better at it though. so here we go...a TON has happened the last couple weeks...from going to nauvoo, family reunion, best birthday bash EVER and spending time with my new best friends whom i love DEARLY!
3 of my good friends all have birthdays very close to mine...sarah (oharah)'s birthday was the 23rd of july, landy's birthday was on july 31st, mine august 1st and christine (bean)'s was on the 2nd...we decided it'd be super fun to throw a big combined birthday party, so we did and it turned out to be so much fun!

saturday we were swimming at the walkers house and bug walker wanted to take us to lunch so since it was my birthday they sang to me and i got to wear the sombrero...AYE AYE AYE ARRRRIBA!...so fun!

nauvoo was so awesome, best experience i think of my life...twayne walker (a man in our branch presidency) and also known as, t dub, papa walker, t-wayne, our second dad, was able to give us this opportunity and i don't know how i will ever thank him for it...he took me, along with 5 other people, to nauvoo for a week. let me explain the trip all in one sentence for you...From Annie's Custard to Taco Bell... catching fireflies to running to the temple in a lightning storm... Chicken Joe to 60's Classics... "house keeping" to brandon's "burp"... church sites to being touched by the spirit...this trip will honestly never be forgotten!!! we had the greatest times ever!

Yesterday dad and i got invited to go to the lake, as you can tell by the pictures and videos below we had a blast! we were one of the only boats out the whole night, there were MAYBE 2 others...so therefore the water was glass and so perfect! the temperature outside was about 93 and the water temp was around 73 degrees, can you say perfect? well...enjoy!

I have found my new favorite color, i'm sure you can guess what it is by my new blog background and header, i have also found my new favorite flower...i have always been a huge gerbera daisy lover but i've never been too fond of light pink, especially light pink flowers...but for some reason that has completely changed! i love light pink and i LOVE light pink daisies! So, by developing a new favorite color and flower that only leads me thinking to one thing....A WEDDING!! settle down though that aint gonna happen for A LONG TIME...and i'm sure by then my favorite color and my favorite flower will have changed...i'm thinking though, light pink and cream, with gold accents...GORGEOUS!....alright i'm done dreaming!

Distorting Reality...

This is very interesting...i was browsing online and trying to find out more about distorted thinking, other than what my mom has already educated me on. it is definitely been a struggle for me the past couple years.

Seven ways to get things wrong:

1. Black-and-white thinking

People often see things in extremes, with no middle ground, good or bad, success or failure, right against wrong, and so on. By doing this, they miss the reality that things rarely are one way or the other but usually somewhere in-between. In other words, there are shades of grey. Another name for this distortion is all-or-nothing thinking. It involves self-talk like:

‘If it’s not perfect, then it’s useless.’
‘If you don’t love me, then you must hate me.’
‘Either I succeed, or I’m a total failure.’
‘If I mess up this part, I may as well give up the whole thing.’

2. Filtering

If you tend to see all the things that are wrong but ignore the positives, then you are filtering. Here are some examples:

‘I can’t see anything good about my situation.’
‘I don’t have any good points.’
‘There’s no hope.’
‘All I get is pain.’

3. Overgeneralizing

People often build up one thing about themselves or their circumstances and end up thinking that it represents the whole situation or happens all the time, or is part of a never-ending pattern. For example:

‘Everything’s going wrong.’
‘Nothing I do ever turns out right.’
‘I’ll always be a failure.’
‘There’s no hope.’

4. Mind-Reading

There are various ways in which we can jump to a conclusion without enough evidence. One of these is mind-reading — making guesses about what other people are thinking:

‘She ignored me on purpose.’
‘You don’t really love me.’
‘They think I’m boring.’
‘You’re only saying that because

5. Fortune-Telling

Another way of jumping to a conclusion is to treat beliefs about the future as though they were realities rather than just predictions:

‘I’ll be depressed for ever.’
‘I’ll never get another job.’
‘Things can only get worse.’

6. Emotional Reasoning

Yet another way to leap to a conclusion is to tell yourself that because you feel a certain way, this is how it really is:

‘I feel like a failure, so I must be one.’
‘If I’m angry, you must have done something to make me so.’
‘I wouldn’t be worrying if there wasn’t something to worry about.’
‘Because I feel unattractive, I must be.’

7. Personalizing

You can also jump to a conclusion by thinking that something is directly connected with you:

‘Everyone is looking at me.’
‘That criticism was meant for me.’
‘It must have been me that made her feel bad.’
‘He didn’t return my greeting. What did I do?’

Lately...

Well the past few weeks have been a bit of a struggle for me...i was diagnosed with depression and put on medication. that was tough for me to be able to accept, and it still is, but i know its something i have to deal with. i've had my days where i want nothing to do with anyone or anything, i sit in my room alone and sleep and cry and sleep and cry. other days i wake up feeling somewhat good and know that if i can get myself to go out and do something, make a plan, the depression will be hid and forgotten for a while. Thanks to my friends and my family who have helped me along the way. i love you guys so much and i feel so blessed. Even though its been hard and i've felt more down and alone than i ever have in my life, i've had some great times.

One night a few of us wanted to get together and go out for dinner, so we did just that! We went to Red Robin and afterwards hung out at the "Walker Cabin" for a while deciding what to do next, we then went hot tubing! it was so fun to be able to relax, laugh, and enjoy time with these awesome kids! i love them so much! we have a blast!

This Last weekend was an absolute blast! There was a huge YSA Conference that was put on for the whole region. We started it off on Thursday going to our good friend Livi's wedding reception and following that we all went to the temple and did baptisms for the dead. Friday night they put on this huge bbq at the church with tons of food, a rock climbing wall, music and tons of people! it was such a fun experience and everyone had a great time! saturday all day they had classes going on at the institute and at bsu. the night prior too was a horrible night, i got no sleep, i was tossing and turning and woke up feeling horrible. so i was unable to attend any of the classes, i was really bummed out about it, but saturday night they had this huge party at the YMCA, we swam for a little, rock climbed and just hung out! it was so much fun! To end the weekend they had this fireside sunday night. The area authority and his wife spoke to us, it was such an awesome experience. thanks again to my friends who have helped me get out and have a great time!

Bailey had her Awards Assembly today and got so many awards i lost count!...the main award she was given was the Presidents Education Award...basically meaning she's freaking smart! Very few kids received it. We are so proud of you bailey! This morning i woke up REALLY craving some waffles with strawberries and whipped cream, its always been my preferred breakfast foods! i got out the stuff to start making them and then TA DA! i came up with a brilliant plan to put food coloring in them, just to make it more fun! so we turned our waffles pink! it just didnt seem completely without my green whip cream! so i did that to top it all off! it was DELICIOUS! i highly recommend you try it sometime! it was so fun!!

Fun times with the Girls and Dad...

This past week has been so fun! Having bree here, being able to go to utah with just the girls and dad (which was a first!) and just being able to spend time together. We've had some fun times. Dad dragged us along to Cabelas to spend his Gift card that us girls got for him as a gift for his graduation...i kinda always dread going in here but we always end up taking pictures so it makes it MUCH more tolerable, fun too i guess!

last summer some of my friends and i sorta developed a bad obsession with pouring bubbles into fountains...luckily we not once got caught! We made it even more fun by creating a code phrase so no one knew what we were doing...our code phrase was "we're going to make slushies!" no idea how we came up with that though. i know most of us have all gone through little rebel stages, last summer was definitely mine. these pictures were when my cousin toni came up for my graduation and i had to let her in on my new found obsession...she absolutely LOVED it. her mother definitely thinks i'm a bad influence on her though haha. such fun memories!

ohhhh yeeeeah we are so ready for this!! thats the sweet van we rode in back to the airport.

getting all harnised (sp?) up...yep and meet bob he was my tandum jumper, i put my life in that mans hands. he was awesome.

look at me! i'm wearing the most uncomfortable thing in the world and i'm still happy!

Even though we were so stoked...we still had times of doubt about all this.

In the video we watched in the very beginning it said we'd have about 20 minutes of training...YEAH RIGHT try 2 minutes of training! i was scared out of my mind because they ran through everything so fast and i was forgetting things...it worried me.

Landed safely after being in the air for 75 seconds...seemed like an eternity!

WE DID IT!!!....lets do it again!

Last summer for my 18th birthday a friend of mine and I were brave enough to go sky diving...ever since that day i've been wanting to go again and again and again...if i was rich enough i'd go at least once a month...but i'm not so i can't. i AM determined to go at least one more time before i go on my mission...and it WILL happen. for those of you brave enough...GO SKY DIVING!!! its the most amazing thing i've ever done.

I was going through my old stuff on the computer and found this. I had written it about you, I might have even posted it on my myspace blog a really long time ago. I just wanted to remind you of it tho...ENJOY! i love you...

--We have come a LONG way since we were young! we've gotten so much closer, shared so many more experiences and have gone through so many more hard times together. the past few years have been somewhat of a challenge for our family and without her, honestly, i don't know how i could have overcome those challenges. i would be so lost and confused without her. sometimes i try to picture what my life would have been like without her...and its pretty much impossible to do so. its been a tad bit hard....ok forget that...its been EXTREMELY hard having her grow up and move out. it just makes me wonder...where has time gone? i'm sure we all ask ourselves that sometimes! looking back on our high school years together...the times we were the closest...i can't help but think of all the memories we shared together. i don't think she'll ever realize how much of a strength she was to me and still is! the first couple years of high school were really tough for me...believe it or not! so many struggles...sometimes i seriously felt life wasn't worth it. i wanted to give up...but she was always there helping me through my problems and lifting me up. i don't think i've thanked her enough. she's always been my inspiration...she inspires me in so many ways i didn't think were possible! all my life i've looked up to her, i've been so amazed by what she has, can, and has yet to accomplish. she WILL do great things! i know that someday she will make a change in peoples lives...for she has made many changes in mine. growing up in the church has been such a strength in our lives. without the gospel, honestly, i can't even begin to imagine what our lives would be like! i know she would agree with me on that one. i've always been so astonished at what an amazing testimony of christ she has. she's always trying to do better, and always trying to do whats right. i look up to her for that! i love you! i miss you! thank you for EVERYTHING!--

Just Some Fun Memories

I love this picture of me and my parents, its probably the best one we have, I believe this one was at our little neighbors football games. I am so lucky and blessed to have the parents that I have. They're amazing!

I have to laugh at these pictures every time I look at them. For one of mine and Bree's personal progress projects we send birthday cards to every extended family member during one year. We took pictures and sent them with the cards we decorated. It was a pretty dang good idea, I just remember not being happy to take the pictures.

This seems like forever ago, Dad teaching me how to ride a horse, I was disgusted and terrified, but I look goooood.

My cousin Toni and I are super close, I definitely not only consider her my best cousin but also my very best friend. We have so many fun memories. I always LOVE going to Arizona and having a ball with this girl. My funnest memory I have with her was when she surprised me for my graduation!

This past Sunday the weather was beautiful! So I believe it was my dad who suggested we go on a picnic. It was so fun to spend time with part of the fam. Mom made a delicious little picnic meal, we threw the frisbie for quite a while, got stuck in a tree, and had just a splendid time!

This I think was when the Doctor asked me about 10 times what color of soft cast I wanted, this was because I kept asking what colors they had due to the drugs.

All done, but still totally and completely drugged.

Brother Walker sent me a surprise delivery of flowers, it was so sweet!

I have always wanted to try snowboarding, quite a few of my friends snowboard and I've always wanted to learn how. Finally a few weeks ago a few of my friends and I decided to go up. I was STOKED! We started off on the bunny hill just to get the feel for things. I finally felt I was ready to go on the quad lift and hit the big hill. I was doing pretty dang good for a first timer. Fell a few times, but not too hard. At last, I almost made it down the run without breaking a bone, then suddenly I caught an edge and fell so hard (I probably even flipped a couple times) I just layed there completely unmovable! Right away I knew I had broken my arm, I couldn't even feel it or move it. The weird thing was I couldnt even cry! I tried so hard but nothing came out! It might have been because my good friend Austin was sitting right by me, I might have felt stupid or something.

It felt like it took 500 hours for ski patrol to come, but they finally did and rode me down to the lodge. They put a sweet splint on and we went straight to the hospital. On the way down from the mountain to the hospital was THE WORST EVER and it felt like the drive was extra long, except that two of my good friends gave me a blessing and it kinda helped calm me down. We finally got to the ER where my dad and brother walker (a man in my branch presidency) met us. I'm pretty sure I have the most amazing friends in the world, they stayed in that boring waiting room for the 3 or 4 hours we were there.

When they first took off my sweatshirt I about fainted because of how my arm looked...so dysfunctional. Then the doctors did their thing. Took some x-rays, gave me an IV completely against my will, totally drugged me up and set my arm. My dad watched the whole thing, said it was the coolest thing ever! I think his favorite part though was messing with me while I was on drugs (you all know my dad). Anyways, it was definitely one of the worst and best experiences of my life!

Quite some time ago I tried to set myself up one of these things and I guess I just didnt have the patience whatsoever, but finally Bree convinced me and I decided to try again, so here I am! So with the help of my kind mother, I was able to finish setting this thing up. We'll see how things go!
